Meet Emilia, our Project Manager
Emilia is one of our project managers with a mission to lead happy teams and deliver high-value projects. We asked her to tell a little about herself.
Introduce yourself – what do you do at JCO Digital?
I manage projects, so a little bit of this and a little bit of that, and all at the same time. But mostly my work consists of making and handing out tasks to the developers and then checking and re-checking that they’re done.
What did you do before you started working at JCO?
I had tried several different fields of work before I decided to study Information technology at Novia University of Applied Sciences. And during a course in entrepreneurship I listened to a lecture held by Monica and thought: “that’s where I want to work!”. So naturally I applied for an internship. And almost one year and a maternity leave later, here I am!
What is the coolest project you’ve been involved in?
All projects are cool. But if I have to name one I would say BSAG’s Pelasta Itämeri (Save the Baltic Sea) project.
What do you love to do on your spare time?
Spend time with my family, play games (video- and boardgames) and different crafts like knitting and sewing.
What irritates you?
Bad internet connection.
Top 3 online services or apps that you use?
Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
Best thing about Raseborg?
The nature and archipelago.
Which programs do you have open right now on your computer?
Several different web-browsers with about a million different tabs, like 20 different folders, notepad, stickynotes, Photoshop, Illustrator, Snipping tool.
