This series of blogs presents you the members of JCO’s cool team. May we present to you our resident coding wizard Niklas.
Tell us about yourself – what do you do at JCO?
What did you do before JCO?
I studied business information technology at Axxell in Tammisaari, and in fact, heard about JCO through the school. I’ve previously done various programming-related jobs and run my own business.
What has been your coolest project at JCO?
It’s not easy to choose only one. I like coming up with different mobile solutions that utilise location data, for instance. One interesting project was a navigation app for cars that monitors how staff members travel in real time. My current project is also very interesting but I can’t say more about it at the moment.
What do you do when not working?
I like to play both board games and computer games, and, when I get really inspired, I also programme my own projects. And I play frisbee golf every once in a while.
What drives you mad?
Badly functioning, closed apps.
Three favourite online services or apps you like to use?
Bitbucket, Telegram, Skype.
Best about Raasepori?
The feel. I love small towns.
Which software are you running on your computer right now?
Command Prompt, Android Studio, Chrome, Skype, Slack, Telegram, and Icedove.
